Dairy is one of the prides of the Midwest. It's one of our biggest exports, and it's one of our most beloved categories of food. It would be so hard to be lactose-intolerant as a Midwesterner. What would you do at any of the summer barbecues? You could really only eat the brats and the burgers. Forget about the potato salad, the Snickers salad, the corn salad, the cheese platter, and the dessert. But if you're a dairy lover like me, then the Midwest is your paradise. 

There is an endless array of cheeses to choose from, from your goats to your cheddars to your muensters to your pepper jacks and everything in between. We also have some of the world's best ice cream. Have you ever tried Superman? No, it's not a tie-in to the new movie. It's been here for ages and it's delicious… if you like blue, which I do.
